For attracting investments into Kazakhstan, Kazakh Invest NC JSC will open more than 10 foreign representative offices in such cities as Paris, Frankfurt, New York, Shanghai and Dubai, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Nursultan Dzhienbaev told at the joint briefing of Kazakh Invest and RK Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Today.kz reports.
Kazakh Invest NC JSC opens foreign offices in order to provide investors with information locally, within their countries.
Now, Kazakhstan is already represented in China, USA and Turkey. Until 2017, the company plans to open other 10 offices.
Dzhienbaev emphasized the importance of representation of interests of Kazakhstan in People’s Republic of China. In connection with the size of economy and amount of investments in Kazakhstan, it is planned to open four or five representative offices in China.
It should be reminded that on August 25, during the meeting on activities of the National Modernization Commission, the President of Kazakhstan noted the absence of considerable progress in terms of implementation of projects in priority sectors of economy, involving “anchor investors” for the last two years.
The head of government was assigned to fix areas of responsibility in attracting investors.
