Prime Minister emphasized that the government has not received any requests from U.S. side on this case yet.
Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman said during his interview with CBC that Ukrainian authorities are ready to provide U.S. with any available information, which can help in investigation of the case of former Donald Trump election campaign manager Paul Manafort, Correspondent.net reports.
“We did not receive any requests concerning this case, but if such process is received, then we will definitely provide available information”, Groisman noted.
He also added that Manafort’s case is connected with the period of presidency of former Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovych.
“My government has absolutely nothing to do with this scandal”, Prime Minister emphasized.
It should be reminded that U.S. accused Paul Manafort and Rick Gates of conspiracy against the country’s interests, money laundering, falsifications and violation of other laws.
According to the investigation, they concealed that they worked for many years on promotion of the interests of Ukraine and Victor Yanukovych’s Party of Regions in the United States.
Currently, Manafort and Gates are being held under house arrest.
