The visit of U.S. President Donald Trump in China, during which he had meeting with President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, was fruitful for two countries in terms of economic cooperation. The parties signed 15 agreements for 250 billion dollars, Finance.ua reports quoting Bloomberg.
“Trump and Xi Jinping called signed agreements as the example of fruitful cooperation of two world’s largest economies”, according to the message.
The largest agreement was the project of long-term investments in energy programs, which will be implemented in West Virginia. It is planned that within 20 years, the Chinese energy corporation China Energy Investment Corp will invest USD 83.7 bln in projects, aimed at preserving the natural gas, chemical production and electrical energy.
One more large-scale project for 43 bln dollars is related to the production of natural gas on Alaska.
In addition, Boeing Co. agreed upon the sale of 300 planes, worth more than USD 37 bln, to China.
