U.S. President Donald Trump Administration intends to provide in January 2018 the program on renewal of the transport infrastructure in the country, on which one trillion dollars will be spent, Finance.Ua reports.
Trump’s advisors propose allocating 200 billion dollars from the federal budget for reconstruction of infrastructure, and other 800 bln should come from private investors and regional authorities. For it, U.S. presidential administration will reduce spending on other items in the federal budget.
WSJ reports that there exists the risk that U.S. Congress does not approve the Trump’s team initiative, as such step will increase the deficit of the country’s budget, however, there is an opposing opinion within the surrounds of the President. Their confidence is based on the support of this program by U.S. population.
The Wall Street Journal quotes data, according to which more than half of people, who voted for Hilary Clinton in 2016, will support the initiative. In addition, those, who voted for Trump, also support the restoration of infrastructure.
