The New York Times reports that Comcast offered 65 billion dollars for purchasing the part of the assets of Twenty-First Century Fox holding.
If the transaction is concluded, then Comcast will receive 20th Century Fox, 20th Century Fox Television, FX and National Geographic, regional TV channels and the share of 30% in Hulu, finance.ua reports.
The company’s offer also exceeds the price of The Walt Disney Co, which previously offered 52.4 billion dollars.
