A.Dykun’s promise to revise agricultural permits
«The primary task a new management of the ministry is to achieve is to make Ukraine into a technically advanced agricultural country and build close rapport with business. Moreover, the government should provide a financial support to boost development of high-priority sectors in the agricultural industry, to reinstate some programs, namely payment of benefits and subsidies, this will also back up the socio-economic development of rural areas», - said Deputy Minister for Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Andrei Dykun at the meeting with the administration officials of the Zakarpatie oblast, the press-service of the ministerial department reports.
He underlined also that given that Zakarpatie has unique agrarian specifics, the industries the priority should be given to in this region are horticulture, wine growing and stock-raising.
Mr.Dykun assured those present that at the earliest opportunity the Ministry will cancel the requirements that specify a quantity of heads of livestock at the farms, lessen considerably a number of permits and licenses for agricultural supplies and revise the fee charged for issue of licenses for wine makers.
«Because you know, nowadays only a recognized wine maker can afford to spend a half million hryvnias for such a license», - an official said.
