Baiterek National Management Holding, JSC, and CITIC Capital signed the co-investment agreement, amounting to USD 150 mln, NUR.KZ reports.
The trilateral agreement between Kazyna Capital Management, JSC, the subsidiary organization of Baiterek National Management Holding, CITIC Capital and Kazakhstan Infrastructure Fund was concluded during the visit of Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang.
The document stipulates the attraction of infrastructure investments from CITIC Capital Silk Road Fund and Qatar Investment Authority for Kazakhstani projects through co-investment mechanism with Kazakhstan Infrastructure Fund.
“The agreement will allow attracting the additional funding for important infrastructure projects, thus contributing to the implementation of the state infrastructure program Nurly Jol and its integration with Chinese initiative “Silk Road Economic Belt”, Chairman of the Management Board of Baiterek National Management Holding, JSC, noted.
Kazakhstan Infrastructure Fund is the direct investment fund, created by Kazyna Capital Management, JSC, for the purpose of financial support of infrastructure projects on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
