The first summit of U.S. and China’s business leaders took place in Washington, D.C. U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross attended the forum. It was chaired by U.S. businessperson Stephen A. Schwarzman, chairman and CEO of the global equity company The Blackstone Group, and the Chinese entrepreneur Jack Ma – Chairman of Alibaba Group, Euronews reports.

The entrepreneurs agreed upon holding annual meeting in order to overcome challenges in trade between the U.S. and PRC. The next business forum will be held in China.
The forum in Washington, D.C. was held several months after the meeting of U.S. President Donald Trump and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in Florida. Then, the politicians discussed measures on increasing U.S. export to PRC and reducing the deficit, which U.S. have in trade with China.
