The conclusion of agreement on reduction of oil production is possible only if other non-OPEC countries, including Russia, agree, CEO of the French oil and gas company Total Patrick Pouyanne said, RNS reports.
“It will be possible only if non-OPEC countries, including Russia, agree to reduce the level of oil production, as Saudi Arabia cannot bear this burden by itself ”, Pouyanne said at the Energy Forum in Paris.
Previously Bloomberg reported, quoting its sources, the ministers of OPEC countries will have meeting with representatives of Russia and others, not belonging to the cartel of oil producing countries until November 30.
On September 28, at the meeting in Algiers, OPEC countries agreed to set limits of production within 32.5-33 mln barrels per 24 hours, however the concrete quotes are not determined yet for each country.
