Russia expects to discuss the new tasks of cooperation in trade, investment and manufacturing cooperation at the upcoming BRICS summit in China, RF President Vladimir Putin said.
BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) summit will be held on September 4-5 in South China town Xiamen, RIA News reports.
“I also remind that in 2015, as per the initiative of Russia, the BRICS Economic Partnership Strategy was approved and successfully implemented at Ufa summit. We expect to discuss new large-scale tasks of cooperation in trade, investment, manufacturing cooperation at the upcoming meeting in Xiamen”, as said in Putin’s article, published in major media of BRICS countries.
According to him, the Russian initiative on the development of cooperation in line of antimonopoly authorities of BRICS countries serves for the creation of effective mechanisms of encouragement of healthy competition.
“It refers to the development of a set of measures, aimed at cooperation in restrictive business practices of large transnational corporations and trans-border violations of the rules of competition”, the Russian leader explained.
