Last year, about 150 ths Russians returned to their homeland from abroad, each fifth returned from the European Union, RIA News reports, quoting Izvestiya, MIA and MFA data.
The countrymen return to Russia thanks to the State Program to Assist Voluntary Resettlement of Compatriots Living Abroad to the Russian Federation.
«The ungrounded hatred of Russia served the major motive for me to return home after 19 years of life in Czech Republic», one of the returned Russians told the edition.
«In Germany, I understood that I have much less employment prospects than in Russia», the man noted, returning to the homeland after 12 years of life in Germany.
As the analysts forecast, the number of those, who want to leave the European Union and move to Russia, will increase. This will happen in case if the political situation in Europe will not improve.
The Anti-Russian attitude in Europe increased after in 2014 the West accused Moscow of aggressive actions against Kyiv.
