Michael Zadornov is expected to act as the anti-crisis manager.
RF Central Bank proposed that VTB 24 Chairman Michael Zadornov should manage Otkrytie FC as the anti-crisis manager, Kommersant daily reports quoting the sources, close to the bank and VTB group.
“This story was initiated in the CB, - one of the interlocutor of the edition. – Mr. Zadornov is called upon to act as the anti-crisis manager, to head the process of recovery of the financial standing of the bank”.
Zadornov promised to announce his decision next week, the source, close to VTB Group, specified. According to other interlocutor, Zadornov is considered as the best candidate for the chairman of the management board; now Evgeni Dankevich holds this post.
The press office of Otkrytie FC and CB did not comment this information. Zadornov did not answer the calls and texts of the newspaper.
In addition, the VTB’s press office told the edition that Zadornov is not going to leave VTB group. “Moreover, VTB’s supervisory board meeting, which will be held on Monday, will consider the question about his election as the member of the management board of the bank”, - the press office told.
