President of Russia Vladimir Putin will have a meeting with representatives of business circles of Germany, Aide to President of the Russian Federation for International Affairs Yuri Ushakov told Russia’s mass media on Monday, October 9, European Truth reports quoting Deutsche Welle.
According to him, the meeting was organized upon the initiative of the Eastern Committee of German Economy. It will be held in Sochi on October 12.
The managers of about 20 companies, operating on the Russian market, will represent German business. They include Siemens, Metro, Wintersholl, Linde, Knauf and others.
It should be reminded that Siemens, which was caught in a scandal with delivery of four gas turbine installations in the annexed Crimea, stated that it may consider the closing up of its business in Russia.
However, later, the concern management reported intention to compete for contracts for modernization of Russian electrical stations.
